A blog on the Spotted Lanternfly in Delaware written as a follow-up to an informational session hosted by Delaware Nature Society with Dept. of Ag. Environmental Scientist Stephen Hauss.

Marketing Materials

A collection of pieces developed for the FOG (Fats, Oil, and Grease) program. These pieces were revamped and developed for use by Commercial Food Establishments in New Castle County, DE to help prevent FOG events such as sewer blockages that can result in damage to homes, pollution of local waterways and groundwater, and harm to fish and wildlife habitats. The collection included a Guide to FOG Management booklet, a 12×18 poster, and a FOG Sink Sign.

Insert for fall appeal mailing. Full color, third-page, two-sided piece created in InDesign.

One-page brag piece for a local realtor created in InDesign.

Property take-away flyer created in InDesign for a local realtor.

Brochure to promote the use of Medical Aid Units. Full color, trifold brochure created in InDesign.

Newsletters

Customer Newsletter included in over 125,000 residential sewer bills for all of New Castle County, DE. Responsible for the design of the piece, as well as writing and editing all content.

Employee newsletter distributed quarterly to all employees in the Public Works Department. Responsible for the initial design and creation of the piece as well as writing and editing all content.

Printed ne wsletter and activity guide that mailed to approximately 4,000 households. Edited the overall piece as well as wrote multiple articles for inclusion including Working for our Watersheds and Garden for Water and Wildlife.

Online employee newsletter that was sent out every other week to keep associates up-to-date with company happenings and news.

Social Media Management

Managed Delaware Nature Society Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts between May 2016 and January 2019.

A series of Facebook ads done to promote summer camp open houses and summer camp at Delaware Nature Society sites. Video can be viewed on Facebook here.

Press Releases

Press Release on Delaware Nature Society’s annual Farm to Fork event. The release was quoted in several articles including on DelawareToday.com and TownSquareDelaware.com.

A press release announcing the certification of Legislative Hall in Dover, DE as a Certified Wildlife Habitat, and an invitation to cover the signing of an Executive Order by County Executive Meyer at Delaware Nature Society’s Annual Native Plant Sale.

Communication Plans & Supporting Collateral

Communications plan and supporting pieces for a company-wide building move to consolidate five locations into one. The plan included updating associates regularly on the building’s progress, planning logistics for the move, communicating the move to members, providers, and associates, and planning and executing an all-associate celebration in the new building.

Communications plan and supporting pieces for the closing of the walk-in customer service center. This took place in conjunction with the building move.
